The presence of some cobwebs in the lounge area, but they were easily taken care of with a quick clean. Another slight drawback was the traffic noise, although it didn't significantly affect our overall pleasant experience at the cottage.

The abundance of body and hand lotions in the bathroom was a thoughtful added touch. Although the open-plan living area could have been improved by replacing a few outdated items, such as dark curtains and rugs, as well as dining chairs that were not the most comfortable, overall it was a pleasant space. The kitchen area, on the other hand, was delightful, equipped with everything we needed and more. The only downside was the lack of storage space for our own food items, as the cupboards were already filled with crockery and utensils. The courtyard outside was a charming space, although the condition of the old shed could use some attention. Despite being close to a busy road, we were pleasantly surprised that the road noise did not bother us as the cottage was below road level. Dairy Villa is a charming cottage that I would highly recommend and definitely consider staying at again.
